EBACE 2009 My Thoughts

My thoughts as an EBACE first-timer.

My first impression was as I flew in, how unusual to see a static display on a busy commercial airport now, much better than at some quite or inactive location. The ability to easily walk from the Terminal to the show, with minimum security was a pleasant surprise.

The halls are big enough for the stands not to be on top of each other, but not too large that it takes an age to walk from one meeting to another. There is an intimacy at the show, not the usual hordes of noisy people possibly, that encourages discussion, I felt able to fully explore the issues on the table without the pressure of a thousand eyes wanting me to finish and let somebody else have a go!
